In 2009, 3G Studios decided to take gaming to the next level and created apps available for the iPhone and iPod Touch. The first of this venture started with Skate or Die which was launched in September. Skate or Die allows you to skateboard through various city scenes and levels.
The second to launch was Bloodlines: The Alexa Holmes Chronicles in October. Bloodlines is a mystery trivia game with a twist. As Alexa, you must travel around the world based on various clues given to you by locals and merchants in order to find your grandfather, the infamous Sherlock Holmes. On top of that, you must fight your way through vampire attacks that too are looking for Mr. Holmes.
Next was Zombeat in November. This isn’t your typical beat-matching game; it’s beat matching to kill zombies! You take on the role of Zeke, a biker turned zombie killer to avenge yourself and save the world! Well, maybe not so dramatic, but all the same, it’s great fun! With the launch of Zombeat was the Christmas pack from APM Music, one of the largest sources of music available.
Zombeat Version 1.1 now available on iTunes just in time for St. Patty’s Day! Free update includes one Irish background and jig, along with the Holiday Christmas pack offered December, 2009. The new upgrade includes three festive backgrounds and four Irish jigs for 99 cents!

Finally, 3G Studios launched The Deep in December. This old-school arcade game takes you below the depths of the sea through over 40 levels of fun. While diving, you must acquire items requested from the locals in order to advance to the next level. To make the game even more challenging, you must avoid underwater inhabitants or else your oxygen levels run low and you must return to the surface to recharge.
